Freight Spend Review
Focused examination of lane rates, fuel surcharges, and accessorials against dispatch histories for selected corridors.
Overview
A Freight Spend Review isolates road or coastal lanes where invoice totals diverge from contracted rates or from what your dispatch application recorded. It is narrower than a full Logistics Cost Audit and suits teams preparing a carrier review cycle.
Included
- Lane-by-lane comparison of billed amounts to contracted matrices
- Flagging of fuel, toll, waiting-time, and after-hours accessorials
- Sample of trip sheets or GPS-backed dispatch records for high-variance loads
- One findings memo and a 60-minute briefing
Not included
Warehouse labour or storage rentals, full statutory audit procedures, or multi-year historical rebuilds.
How we work
You nominate corridors and a review window (often one or two months). We ingest invoices and dispatch extracts, test a statistical sample of trips, then expand where variance clusters appear. Findings stay specific: invoice number, trip reference, expected versus billed amount.
Pricing and next step
Fees are quoted per corridor set. See Rates for starting figures, then contact us with the lanes under pressure.
