Warehouse Cost Allocation
Reconcile storage, handling, and overtime charges to inventory movements and labour records held in warehouse applications.
Overview
Warehouse Cost Allocation work connects cost centre totals — rent allocations, handling fees, agency labour, and overtime — to the picks, puts, and storage days your warehouse application already logs. The goal is a fairer split across clients, SKUs, or business units, and a clearer view of overtime drivers.
Included
- Mapping of cost centres to warehouse activity codes
- Testing of overtime against clock-in and shift plans
- Storage-day sampling against inventory snapshots
- Allocation workbook and management briefing
Constraints
We do not redesign warehouse layouts or replace WMS vendors. Site access for sampling is required when physical tickets differ from digital records.
